Healthcare projects in Kenya
Hospitals are among the hardest buildings to deliver. Clinical layouts, medical services and hygiene rules shape every stage, and much of the work happens beside wards that stay open.
For county hospitals, national programmes and private facilities in Kenya, we offer one accountable contract from design to handover. Our execution partners bring the specialist design, management and construction expertise.

What a contractor must get right
Phased works in live hospitals
Wards, theatres and emergency departments often stay open during works. Phasing, access routes and temporary services must keep patients and staff safe.
Infection control
Dust, noise and vibration need tight control near clinical areas. Sealed barriers, clean routes and careful sequencing reduce the risk to patients.
Coordinated medical services
Medical gases, ventilation, standby power and water systems must work together. Early MEP coordination avoids clashes and late changes.
Commissioning before handover
Every system must be tested and commissioned before patients arrive. Clinical teams also need time to check rooms and equipment.
Emergency access must stay open throughout the works. 
Patient care continues while building work goes on nearby.

Civil works for commercial, residential and industrial buildings, steel structures and fabrication, and interiors, fit-out and coatings.

Concrete repair and protection, crack injection, carbon-fibre strengthening, cathodic protection, and scanning, coring and cutting.

What our execution partners have delivered
- Our execution partners have designed more than 20 hospitals, from 200-bed regional hospitals to city hospitals of up to about 1,900 beds.
- They have managed several large city hospitals in parallel, each over half a million square metres and up to about 2,700 beds.
- Our design and management partner was the first technical consultant for healthcare public-private partnerships to a national ministry of health, active since 2005.
- The same partner won a global best project award in 2019 for a large integrated health campus.

Questions clients ask
Can you work while the hospital stays open?
Yes. We plan the works in phases with the hospital's clinical and facilities teams. Before work starts, we agree access routes, infection-control measures and any service shutdowns.
Can you deliver design and construction under one contract?
Yes. We offer design-and-build and turnkey delivery, with design and engineering from our partner network. We can also build to a design prepared by your own consultants.
Who is accountable for the project?
StellarCosmic Global Limited is the contracting party and your single point of accountability. Our execution partners provide specialist expertise, methods and quality systems where the project needs them.
